I hate to be a tease, but Phil {husband} and I may have a reason to be painting some walls in the near future… Don’t fret: I’ll post pictures at the earliest possible second. Needless to say, my mind has gone to places of paint color day dreams like crazy. My latest dreamy daze: Navy! I’ve been surrounded by white walls for much too long – I’m ready to be bold!

Has anyone else been wondering what happened to Fab Find Friday?! Me too! About time to bring it back!
With summer in full swing and birthday season here [my husband’s birthday and mine are 10 days apart], I can’t help but dream of beautiful themed parties. With the 4th around the corner, I’m guessing many of you may be thinking about grilling, parties, cool drinks, delicious food, picnic tables, back yards… fabulous!
Garden Stools
Need a spot to set your drinks, but don’t have the space for a big coffee table? Consider using nesting tables or garden stools! I’m working with a client right now who has limited space for a coffee table, so we’re brainstorming some other options.

Counting Blessings
I’ve always appreciated the saying, “Count your blessings.” I think it’s a great reminder to remember all the wonderful things in life. However, I praise God today because the quote has always been a little silly to me in this: I’ve never [and I don’t think I ever will] had a graspable or “countable” amount of blessings.
I’m an emotional person, and the thought is kind of an emotional thing: I worship today for…
Paint Splotch Cards
Splotch: what a silly word. I even looked it up on dictionary.com to make sure that I was using the word correctly – haha!
After some lovely posts about accessory trends, I felt the need for a little DIY project! So – here enters the splotch cards…
I recently did a painting project in which I used small amounts of a variety of colors. Here’s my fancy paper plate palette. It seems I always…
Dippity-Doo-Da!
The last few days I have been mystified by all things dipped.
I mean, seriously, gathering images for this blog post makes me want to go grab everything in our apartment and dip it in paint!
Dipped cards…genius! Gotta give this a try.
I’m so inspired, I’m actually somewhat speechless. “Dipping” is a great way to add a pop of…
Super Succulents
Succulents have really made their way onto the décor radar lately! I love using them for a touch of texture as an accessory. Use them individually for a cute touch – or in multiples for a much greater impact!
I’m calling my succulents “super” because they are one of the few things that I can grow. They can take the heat, and if I forget to water them for a few days – they have no…
Flavor Paper
No… I’m not talking about Willy Wonka’s hallway of fruit-flavored wallpaper.
Flavor Paper is a wonderful wallpaper company based out of New York. Their tagline of “tasty handscreened & digital wallpaper” says it well.
Their wallpaper patterns are unique, quirky, and bold.
They screen print their wallpapers, which allows for bold colors & graphic statements. This isn’t your everyday wallpaper. A lot of the base papers are metallic – which…
A Delightful Dad’s Day
Happy Father’s Day! I wish for you a wonderful day filled with love being surrounded by the fathers in your life. I may be the luckiest girl ever… I get to worship my heavenly Father this morning, and fish with my daddy this afternoon. I couldn’t do a Father’s Day post without a little bit of interior inspiration. I’ve never been a huge fan of the “man cave” concept -…
Style with a sense of humor.
A smile can uplift a spirit. A laugh can liven an entire room.
Want to give your friends and family a smile {and an awesome conversation piece} when they enter your home? My advice: some well placed wording or an unexpected art piece. Maybe add in a silly accessory here or there.
Take some fabulous inspiration from these awesome spaces…
