Hello friends! Oh. My. Goodness. Did you think I fell off the face of the Earth? I kinda fell off the face of the world wide web, that’s for sure!
I have to admit – I’m sorry, but I’m kind of not sorry. I’m sorry – because I really love you guys following along on my blog. I love blog world, and I don’t want to disappoint you guys by not being present. But there’s something so refreshing about unplugging for a bit. From July 12 – July 19 I spent a week in beautiful Colorado – completely unplugged – and yet, so in tune to God’s beautiful creation and the people around me. I didn’t look at my cell phone for 6 days. Can you believe it?! Didn’t even touch the thing. Anyway – I’ll share more on that experience later.
But for now: I am working on some fabulous remodel projects. A rustic addition that is all about the outdoors, a fresh minimalist remodel, a sleek mid-century dining/living room, and others – my clients are keeping me on my toes! Today I want to share with you some of the images that are inspiring me for this rustic addition I am speaking of. So, here we go – let’s dive in!
The most important part of the addition = WINDOWS! It’s all about the outdoors, and we want it to feel like it has a seamless connection with the back yard space.
We are using wood flooring [that ties into the wood floor in other rooms on the main floor of the home] and wood car siding for the ceiling:
