Coastal Blue: Living Room

Introducing: a comfortable living room with coastal blue accents. A few of my favorite things: birds flying in the wall, a custom beach painting, and slender black candle holders.

It’s about time I start sharing some of the projects I’ve been working on in the last year – hopefully this “taking time to upload photos” thing is something that I can continue to do!

It was music to my ears to hear my client tell me how she loves spending mornings in her beautiful, new chair – complete with a hot coffee & good book.

I love adding custom pieces to my client’s homes! We chose this blue patterned fabric, and added the textured, black stripe trim. No one else has a pillow like it!

Drum roll please, for my favorite piece in the room! A custom painting is the focal point over the fireplace. And those candlesticks…

I’ll leave with you with these kind words from my client…

“I/we had been wanting to change up our home for awhile, I spent hours looking at Pinterest, magazines, etc and could never decide what I wanted or any clue where or how to start.  While getting my haircut one morning at Heidi’s Salon, she had this cute entry spot and I commented on it and she handed me a Rardon Design biz card, I of course thought “oh I can figure this out”…..1 month later I attended a Home Show, and there was Rachel, soooo I made an appointment for her to come to our house.  BEST decision ever…..she came in, walked around, took some pictures, got to know me and like they say, “the rest is history.”  New paint on the walls, new pictures, moved things around and turned our space in to something we truly love.   It was an easy redo for me, she gave me lots of ideas and choices and helped me make the decisions.  I will use Rardon Design again and highly recommend her to anyone wanting some ideas and help.  I truly feel like I gained a new friend in Rachel and missed her when the project was done :).”
