Anyone have a bathroom update going on? We definitely do at the Rardon household. [And it may have gotten a little bit more serious due to water damage we recently had from a pipe break in our basement. Ugh. Don’t want to get too far ahead of myself on that one though – it will probably be a substantial amount of time until I have an update on that remodel.] I have some client bathroom projects in the works as well. One particular dreamy bathroom I’m super excited about with the most beautiful marble-like tile, fabulous quartz, and chrome sconces. Goodness, I’m such a tease aren’t I?!
There is one particular bathroom project that I can share pictures with you soon! Grey and yellow has been all the rage – and this bathroom embraces it all the way.
When remodeling a bathroom, there are usually four main components in your initial decisions: 1) flooring, 2) cabinetry, 3) countertops, 4) tile. The overall look you want, and where you want the focus to be in your bathroom will determine the order in which you choose those items. Once these top 4 components have been chosen move to the next four: 1) lighting, 2) paint, 3) plumbing fixtures, 4) cabinetry hardware. Just 8 simple steps – easy, right?! But today, I want to focus on the finishing touches. Here’s a quick checklist:

>Towel & TP Hardware
>Bath Linens

Today, I want to share with you the images I put together for my client when we were choosing the finishing touches for their grey & yellow bathroom. At this point, we had chosen all of the main components of the bathroom, the messy part of the remodel was complete, and we just needed to find some fun touches to finish the bathroom – and bring in that “wow factor” that we’re all looking for!

My favorite thing about these boards is that they are packed full of budget-friendly, gorgeous items. Using Target makes things reasonable and easy for my clients as well: You can simply go shop the store, [or have me shop for you] and if they don’t have a particular item, you can order it online. The most frustrating part of shopping online is when you receive something and it’s not what you expected. However, when ordering from Target – you don’t have to mess with return shipping if you receive something you don’t love – you can just return it to the store. Yes!
I love putting together customized options [like this board] for my clients. Has anyone ever drown in the multitude of options out there?! [What?! You want me to sift through 439 shower curtain options, and I can only see 12 options per page?! Ah!] Let me put together a custom board for you! Think of it like going from drowning in options, to floating on a hot pink blow up, in a crystal blue pool, with a margarita! How refreshing!
I’ll be sharing before and after pictures of this bathroom – so you can see which items we chose.
